Moto G Stylus 5G design and key specs leaked

Motorola launched Moto G Stylus 2021 earlier this year in the US. Now the company is working on the Moto G Stylus 5G, and a press render of the device has surfaced on the web.   Nils Ahrensmeier of TechnikNews has the render on Twitter and it shows the phone from all angles. The Moto G Stylus 5G will feature a hole in the left corner of its display and a thick bottom chin as per the render. The phone has a quad-camera setup and there is a pill-shaped LED placed horizontally below the cameras. At the back, there is also a Motorola batwing logo that sits in the center which will also act as a fingerprint scanner.   At the bottom, there is a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C port, a microphone, a speaker grille, and a stylus pen port. The top of the phone is bare.   As per the tipster, the phone will make its debut in the U.S., and it will come with built-in storage of 256 GB and Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC. It hasn't been a complete month since Clubhouse arrived on Android and it seems like the app developers are in no mood to let the development of the app slow down. Jio brings back Rs 98 prepaid plan with 14 days of validity

Jio has relaunched an old prepaid plan which it discontinued a little over a year ago. The Rs 98 prepaid recharge plan is now being offered again by the operator but with a single change in the validity period which brings it down from 28 days to a mere 14 days.    The development was first spotted by OnlyTech, which correctly identifies that the telco silently relaunched its cheapest plan for prepaid users. For 14 days, you get access to unlimited calling, along with 1.5GB of daily high-speed data making it a total of 21 GB of data for the whole plan.    You also have a complimentary subscription to all of Jio's apps including JioTV, JioNews, JioCinema, JioSecurity and JioCloud. Samsung to manufacture 80 million OLED panels for iPhone 13 Pro models: Report

Samsung manufactures a lot of hardware components for a bunch of other OEMs and its latest customer seems to be the California-based smartphone manufacturer, Apple. Samsung is reportedly going to produce the OLED displays with LTPO technology and 120Hz refresh rate for the iPhone 13 series.    The report comes from Korean publication, TheElec as per which Samsung is going to produce over 80 million OLED panels for Apple at its A3 Line inside the Asan plant. The OLED panels will purportedly be equipped on the Pro models of the iPhone 13 series, namely the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max. These panels will have 120Hz refresh rate, LTPO technology, both of which are a first for Apple.   The Korean manufacturer will continue to produce the OLED panels for the iPhone 12 models as well even after the iPhone 13 series launches. Twitter and the Indian government are in a tussle over the new IT rules but the social media company is now willing to solve the issues as it conveys that the microblogging company "strives to comply" with applicable laws in India.   An official statement from a Twitter spokesperson said, "As we have stated earlier, Twitter strives to comply with applicable laws in India. IQOO has announced the launch date for the iQOO 3 in India which is now set for 8th June at 12p.m. IST. This will be the third smartphone from the brand launching this year in India. WhatsApp won't limit functionality for those who don't accept new privacy policy

WhatsApp has taken a U-Turn on its own claims following the worldwide disapproval of its new privacy policy. The company announced that it will limit the functionality of its app for users who fail to accept the new privacy policy but the social media application doesn't plan on doing that anymore.   In a statement to 'The Verge', a WhatsApp spokesperson said, "Given recent discussions with various authorities and privacy experts, we want to make clear that we will not limit the functionality of how WhatsApp works for those who have not yet accepted the update".   The new privacy policy that allows WhatsApp to share with Facebook a user's chat with a business account, was supposed to go live on 8th February 2021 but is getting delayed since then. Airtel to provide free vaccination for all of its frontline staff and partners

The second wave of COVID-19 has taken the nation by a storm. Brands are making efforts towards improving the situation in the country and are also taking care of their employees. In light of this situation, Airtel has announced that it will help its frontline staff to get vaccinated at its own camps.    Airtel wrote a letter to its employees stating the vaccination will be done free of cost for all the frontline employees at special camps being organised by Airtel at 35 locations across India. Google urged other OEMs to hide privacy settings on Android and practiced the same itself

Google recently revealed a bunch of privacy related features with the release of Android 12 including a privacy dashboard. But it seems like the company itself hasn't been practicing its own rules. Recently uncovered court documents show that Google had made it difficult for the users to find popular settings including location tracking.   The documents were spotted by 'Business Insider' which reveal that Google tested versions of Android that enabled the users to easily find privacy settings. But when this move backfired on the company as users started taking advantage of the settings, Google reportedly made it difficult to access these settings by burying them deep into the settings of the phone.    If that wasn't enough, Google went further ahead and continued to collect location information even after the user disabled all app-specific tracking settings. Realme has launched the Realme X7 Max in India which comes as the first smartphone in the country to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Xiaomi under its Redmi brand recently launched Redmi AirDots 3 Pro true wireless earbuds in China. Now the same earbuds might launch as Poco Pop Buds and Redmi Buds 3 Pro in some markets. Foldable phones are about to witness a surge in number as per a new report which claims a bunch of companies are working on foldable devices. The launches could start from the third quarter and a host of companies are included in the list that may launch a foldable.   The report comes from DigiTimes, as per which Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo could launch new foldable phones in 2021. At the Virtual Computex 2021 trade show, Intel has announced its first 5G module for PCs, the Intel 5G Solution 5000 along with the two new, faster 11th Gen 'Tiger Lake' CPUs for thin and light laptops. The company also demonstrated its upcoming 12th Gen 'Alder Lake' CPUs running on both desktop and laptop.    Intel partnered with MediaTek and Fibocom to develop its Intel 5G Solution 5000 module that is intended for use in laptops and PCs. This could help people who rely on wireless connectivity for data usage rather than the wired methods. Xiaomi 200W fast charging can fully charge a phone in eight minutes, 120W wireless charging announced

Xiaomi has today introduced two charging solutions - 200W HyperCharge fast charging technology and 120W wireless fast charging technology.   As per the company, Xiaomi HyperCharge is capable of charging a modified Mi 11 Pro with a 4,000mAh battery within 15 minutes with the help of 120W wireless charging and in 8 minutes using the 200W Wired HyperCharge technique.   The company has shared a video demoing these fast charging technologies in a modified Mi 10 Pro smartphone that shows a 4,000 mAh battery on the phone being charged up to 10% in 1 minute, 50% in 8 minutes and 100% in 19 minutes. OnePlus Nord CE 5G specifications tipped ahead of June 10 launch

A new Nord phone from OnePlus is right around the corner and we now have a few key specifications of the device that have been leaked which suggest the smartphone will sit in the mid-range segment. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is believed to be the successor to the Nord N10 5G that was launched in European and North American markets last year.    Citing insider sources, a report by Android Central reveals the smartphone may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G which is a slightly lower-powered chip compared to last year's Snapdragon 765G chip which gave power to the original Nord.    For the display, it could have a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz of refresh rate. Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ spotted on Geekbench with peak clock speeds of 3.0Ghz

Qualcomm released its new flagship processor for smartphones, the Snapdragon 888 SoC back in December of 2020 but considering its upgrade schedule and a new leak, a new plus variant of the chip might arrive sooner than later in July itself.    The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ has now made a brief appearance on Geekbench which suggests the newest Cortex X1 performance core will now be overclocked at 3.0Ghz compared to the 2.84Ghz peak clock speed for this performance core on the Snapdragon 888.    Further, the Geekbench listing reveals four low-power A55 cores running at 1.8GHz and three additional Cortex-A78 clusters running at 2.4Ghz. The processor was able to score 1,171 single-core points and 3,704 points on the multi-core test which also stand in line with the scores we have previously seen on smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 888.    There's no information available as to when the chip could launch but we can expect companies like Samsung, Asus,...

Acer launches new Chromebook Models along with Aspire Vero 'Eco-friendly' laptop

Acer has already launched a bunch of refreshed laptops, Gaming Rigs with newer processors and the brand has now also launched a bunch of Chromebook models that are powered by the Intel 11th Gen Core processors. The models include Chromebook Spin 314, Chromebook Enterprise Spin, Chromebook 514, Chromebook Enterprise 514, Acer Chromebook 713, and the Chromebook Spin 317. The brand has also released the Acer Aspire Vero model which is an eco-friendly notebook.   The Spin 317 is the newest addition to the lineup and Acer claims it to be the first ever 17-inch Chromebook laptop in the industry. Realme is reportedly working on a new smartphone with model number RMX3261. The phone has now appeared in an FCC (Federal Communications Commission) listing, revealing its design and a few key specs.   The FCC listing has revealed the front and rear design of the upcoming Realme phone. On the front, the phone has a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera. On the back, there is square-shaped triple camera setup with an LED flash. Acer Predator Orion 3000, Nitro 50 Gaming rigs refreshed, three new monitors launched

Acer recently updated its Predator, ConceptD and TravelMate series of laptops with the latest Intel and AMD CPUs but along with it, the company has now also refreshed its Acer Predator Orion 3000 and Acer Nitro 50 gaming desktop PC lineups. The new machines are either powered by 11th-generation Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 5000-series desktop processors. Poco is finally ready to launch the Poco F3 GT in India, however, a specific release date hasn't been shared by the company except that the phone is arriving sometime in Q3 of 2021. OnePlus Nord getting OxygenOS 11.1.1.3 update with Msy 2021 Android Security Patch in India

OnePlus has rolled out a new OxygenOS to its OnePlus Nord in India. The update brings various bug fixes of camera, system, and file manager along with May 2021 Android security patch level.   As announced by the company on forums, OnePlus is rolling out the software update with version OxygenOS 11.1.1.3.AC01DA in India, OxygenOS 11.1.1.3.AC01BA in Europe and OxygenOS 11.1.1.3.AC01AA in other global markets.
